1. About This Fee Schedule
Eventedia is a product and digital platform operated by Eventedia Hub Limited.
This Fee Schedule sets out the charges applicable to selected Eventedia services.
Eventedia Hub Limited may automatically calculate and deduct applicable fees from transactions, organizer balances or other amounts payable through the platform, except where a fee (such as the system fee described below) is charged directly to the attendee rather than the organizer.
All amounts stated in this Fee Schedule are in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless otherwise stated.
2. System Fee
K2.00 per ticket sold
Eventedia currently charges a flat system fee of K2.00 for each ticket sold.
The system fee is added to the ticket price and is paid by the attendee at checkout. It is a separate, attendee-facing charge and is not deducted from, and does not reduce, the event organizer's proceeds.
The fee applies to each ticket quantity included in an eligible transaction.
| Tickets Sold | System Fee (Paid by Attendee) |
|---|---|
| 1 | K2.00 |
| 2 | K4.00 |
| 5 | K10.00 |
| 10 | K20.00 |
| 50 | K100.00 |
Use the fee calculator below to estimate the total attendee cost and organizer proceeds for any ticket price and quantity.
3. Event Fee
5%
Eventedia currently charges an event platform fee of 5% on eligible paid ticket sales.
Unlike the system fee, the event fee is deducted from the organizer's gross ticket sales rather than added to the attendee's checkout total.
The applicable event fee is calculated automatically by the platform.
4. Fee Calculator
Use the calculator below to estimate what an attendee pays at checkout and what an organizer can expect to receive, based on the current fee schedule. Figures are estimates for illustration only.
Attendee Pays
Organizer Receives
The K2.00 system fee is paid by the attendee and does not reduce organizer proceeds. Proceeds become available for withdrawal after the event has taken place (see Withdrawals) and are subject to the 3% withdrawal fee at payout.
5. Affiliate Commission
1% Default Rate
The default Eventedia affiliate commission is 1% on eligible ticket sales generated through an affiliate referral.
An organizer may be permitted to establish a different commission rate for an individual event where the relevant Eventedia feature allows it.
Affiliate commissions may be reversed where the underlying transaction is:
- Refunded
- Cancelled
- Reversed
- Fraudulent
- Invalid
- Otherwise determined to be ineligible
6. Event Listing Fee
K0.00
Eventedia currently charges no event listing fee for creating an event.
Eventedia Hub Limited may introduce an event listing fee in the future.
Any applicable listing fee will be displayed before the organizer completes the relevant action.
7. Withdrawal Fee
3%
Eventedia currently charges a 3% withdrawal fee on eligible withdrawals.
Proceeds from an event become eligible for withdrawal after the event has taken place, rather than immediately after ticket sales — see the Withdrawals section of our Terms of Service for full details on withdrawal timing.
Example — Withdrawal of K1,000
The actual amount received may be affected by charges imposed by external payment or financial service providers where applicable.
8. Event Boost Fee
K500 per Boost Period
Organizers may pay K500 to promote an eligible event through the Eventedia Top Events section.
9. Boost Period
30 Days
Each successful boost payment covers a promotional period of 30 days, subject to Eventedia's promotional rules.
Organizers may renew a boost where renewal is available and the event remains eligible.
10. Top Events Slots
Eventedia currently provides a maximum of:
4 Boosted Event Positions
The Top Events section is therefore subject to limited promotional capacity.
Where all available positions are occupied, an organizer may need to wait until a promotional position becomes available.
11. Boost Eligibility
An event must meet Eventedia's requirements to qualify for promotional placement.
Eventedia may reject, suspend or remove a boosted event where the event:
- Violates platform policies
- Contains misleading information
- Is fraudulent
- Is removed from Eventedia
- Becomes ineligible
- Creates a material platform or user-safety concern
12. Boost Performance
Payment for an event boost does not guarantee:
- Ticket sales
- Revenue
- Attendance
- A particular number of views
- A particular number of clicks
- Search-engine ranking
- Any particular commercial result
The boost provides promotional placement only.
13. Refunds and Platform Fees
Where a ticket transaction is refunded, the treatment of Eventedia fees will depend on the circumstances of the refund.
Factors may include:
- Event cancellation
- Event postponement
- Organizer refund terms
- Payment-provider charges
- Transaction status
- Affiliate commission
- Other applicable circumstances
Any applicable non-refundable charge will be communicated where required. See our full Refund and Returns Policy for details.
14. Donations and Fundraising
Eventedia may provide fundraising and donation features for eligible events.
Where a platform fee applies to donations or fundraising transactions, the applicable charge will be disclosed through the relevant service.
15. Payment Processing
Eventedia may support:
- Airtel Money
- MTN Money
- Zamtel Money
- Visa
- Other payment methods introduced by Eventedia
Third-party payment providers may apply their own charges, requirements or processing conditions.
Such charges are separate from Eventedia platform fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
16. Taxes and Statutory Charges
Applicable taxes, duties or statutory charges may apply to transactions or services.
Where applicable, such amounts may be reflected in the transaction amount or otherwise disclosed.
17. Fee Calculation
Eventedia's system may automatically calculate fees based on:
- Ticket quantity
- Ticket value
- Applicable event fee
- Affiliate attribution
- Withdrawal amount
- Boost selection
- Applicable promotional period
- Other transaction information
The fee shown by the Eventedia system at the relevant point of transaction will be the applicable fee unless an error or correction is subsequently identified.
18. Fee Changes
Eventedia Hub Limited may change its fees from time to time.
Any revised fee structure will be published or communicated through the platform and will include an applicable effective date.
Where appropriate, users will be given notice of material changes.

20. Organizer Fee Example
For illustration, assume an organizer sells 10 tickets at K100 each.
What the Attendee Pays — 10 Tickets at K100
What the Organizer Receives — 10 Tickets at K100
If an affiliate commission applies, the applicable commission would be deducted separately according to the applicable affiliate terms.
These proceeds become eligible for withdrawal after the event has taken place. If the organizer then withdraws K950.00 and the 3% withdrawal fee applies:
Withdrawing K950.00
